Solar-Powered Access Control Gates Secure Parking Area

Problem
A large media company had non-working gates at their employee and visitor parking lot. Because the parking lot was across the street from their building and mostly unsecured, it posed a safety and security issue to employees, guests, and their vehicles.
Solution
DH Pace proposed to remove the existing gates and install 2 solar-powered vertical pivot gates at the entrance of the parking lot. Each gate is 15-feet-3-inches wide by 6-feet tall for a total width of 30-feet 6-inches when closed.
In addition to the gates, DH Pace installed 2 custom-fabricated powder-coated steel walk gates, 140 feet of 6-foot high powder-coated steel fencing, steel fabricated powder-coated handrails for the concrete stairs and wheelchair ramp area. DH Pace Systems Integration Group was brought in to install an access control and intercom system for the drive and walk gates which communicate wirelessly across the street to the main building.
The result is a secure parking lot and peace of mind for employees and guests visiting the building.
